The Blue Olives are one of Wisconsin's most talented and entertaining bands. The band plays a mixture of blues, funk, classic rock, jazz, and R&B oriented material. The band started in the early 90's as a 3 piece fusion group, but changed to form the house band for a blues jam in the Chicagoland area. Horns were added, members were shuffled, and finally all the pieces were in place! We now perform with a solid 7 piece lineup.

The Blue Olives have over 400 songs in their repertoire.  While the focus these days is on performing original material, the band can still cover songs from musicians like Steely Dan, B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Chicago, and many more. With such a vast songlist, we can perform just about any gig with extreme confidence! Our motto is "adapt, conquer, and above all else........ entertain." We have performed nearly 2800 shows in 6 states.
